Andy Hampson

2009

 

Andy is looking to return to the area and this is a big plus for the club. His ability with the bat has caused us all to sit and watch amazed as he creams boundaries to all parts of the ground with effortless ease only to be told in the aftermatch analysis that he was "batting badly and nothing was coming out of the middle", such are the standards that he sets himself.

If he can recapture his form with the ball then there could be carnage this season...

2008

 

Due to working commitmets Andy has been drifting away form cricket at Wherwell but continues to show his dedication by travelling from the busy metropolis that is London to help the team and is always guaranteed a place in the side when available

 

2007

Andy is a very aggressive player in all aspects of the game. A pace bowler he is responsible for many wickets and can hold the oppositions run rate down very well.

Andy can score prolific innings and does so in an orthodox yet destructive style, definitely a big hitter, he provides great entertainment for all involved (even the bowler).
