Nigel Horne2010
Nigel is the teams keeper and on his day can be one of the best keepers in our league, his quick glove work can be the undoing of many a batsman. His batting will have to play a big role this season as he will be required to get runs with the tail and help finish games off. Nigel has grown within his role over the last few seasons, he now even talks on pitch.
2008
Nigel has taken over as Sunday skipper for 2008, which as a club are hoping it brings out his much needed vocal side that all good wicket-keepers are associated with. Nigel aims to score his first 50 this year after a couple of promising seasons with the bat, including a 48 and 49.
2007Nigel is our wicket keeper, a job that he takes great pride in. He has progressively got better in this specialist position to the point where he manages to make extras a previously unheard of minimum. Aside from his efficient wicket keeping Nigel contributes with the bat. He scored several 40’s at the start of the season and was unlucky not to convert them to 50’s, although needing to learn that leaving the ball will not score many runs!
