We are yet to see the new look chairman on the field this year due to severe bicep injury. it will hopefully not impact his guile and ability to reduce any batsman to a sobbing heap.

With his UKCC2 qualification under his belt we can expect to see the next generation of Wherwell bowlers perfecting the art of Off-Spin under Richards guidance.

 

2008

 

This season has seen Richard take on the responsibility of chairman, a job which he will take great pride in. He is also be in charge of the youth development

 

2007

 

Another player from the legendary Rowles gene pool. Richard, the Saturday captain, utilises his ‘wiry athletic’ frame. A left handed spin bowler and right handed batsman, he relies heavily on the sun being behind him for his bowling and always provides fascinating incites into life.
