Ryan has been at the club for more years than anyone cares to remember, and has consistently given 100% to the cause. He is a fantastic spin bowler and probably spins the ball more than anyone that has graced Wherwell's hallowed turf. Ryan is also a very good batsman and is guaranteed to stay at the crease for a long time, holding the innings together. An ever-present in the slips, if the ball goes to him in the air, he will catch it, no matter how difficult the chance.

 

 

Ryan is a strong top order batsman who can normally be relied on for runs. He scores primarily through the off side with his good timing and organised gait. More pertinently this season, Ryan has provided the team with a bowling alternative and his fierce leg breaks have left many batsmen baffled, whilst his off break has also caused problems. His performance at first slip has been, once again, consistency personified.
