Scott, after stepping down from a successful stint as Sunday Side captain, will be hoping to make it into the Saturday side on a weekly basis. With his excellent fielding he could almost get in the team with that attribute alone, but when combined with his aggressive batting style and good line and length bowling, Scott makes himself an excellent member of the team.

Scott Blackmore’s game came on leaps and bounds in 2007  and we hope he can make a similar improvement this year. Scott opened the batting on several occasions last season and often ran away from the ball.

2007

 

 

A great prospect as a first change bowler Scott has developed his game dramatically this season. His line and length approach to bowling has been enhanced by the introduction of swing. Scott has flummoxed many a batsmen, picking up an impressive 14 wickets. His batting ability has also proved helpful on several occasions. Scott is a good stroke maker who scores well off his front foot. Scott has also had an unrivalled level of commitment and has featured in every game this season.
